Attorney Alison Bird
Alison Bird is a corporate attorney who concentrates her practice in business transactions and technology licensing. She has deep experience working with companies of all sizes and frequently assists technology businesses on general corporate matters and outsourcing. As a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), Alison advises clients on compliance with privacy and data security regulations, especially as they relate to hosted software solutions.
Alison graduated from Harvard College and received a JD from Columbia Law School. She started her legal career as a clerk for the Hon. Burton R. Lifland, Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of New York and as an attorney for Davis Polk & Wardwell.
Alison is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and serves on the Women in the Legal Profession Committee of the New York City Bar Association. She has been a member of the Grants Advisory Committee of the New York Women's Foundation and has also worked as a mentor and tutor for various not for profit organizations. Alison has also served on the advisory board of the Allen-Stevenson School.
