Attorney Gerry A. Fifer
Gerry A. Fifer is of counsel to the firm. She has practiced intellectual property law for over twenty-seven years at leading law firms in New York and as counsel at several small law firms. Her clients have ranged from multi-national corporations to small businesses and start-up companies in diverse industries. She focuses on transactional trademark work, counseling clients on selecting, protecting, using, and licensing marks, performing searches and clearance, and prosecuting applications. She also advises clients on copyright, information technology, and privacy, and drafts and negotiates agreements in those areas.
Ms. Fifer has spoken and written widely about the Internet and information technology, including co-authoring a chapter of Trademark Law & the Internet, and has served on and chaired bar-association committees on intellectual property, electronic technology, and privacy law.
Ms. Fifer graduated from New York University School of Law and is admitted to practice in New York. She is a former editor and electronics technician.
