Attorney Gerry A. Fifer
Gerry A. Fifer is of counsel to the firm. She has practiced intellectual property law for over twenty
three years at leading law firms in New York and as counsel to several small law firms. Her clients have
ranged from multi-national corporations to small businesses and start-up companies in diverse
industries. Gerry counsels clients on intellectual property, information technology, and privacy, drafts
and negotiates agreements in those areas. She also handles trademark prosecution, copyright concerns and
trade-secret protection. Gerry has represented clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board and
has negotiated domain name disputes.
Ms. Fifer has spoken and written widely about the Internet and information technology, including co–authoring a chapter of Trademark Law & the Internet, and has served on and chaired bar-association committees on intellectual property, electronic technology, and privacy law.
Ms. Fifer graduated from New York University School of Law and is admitted to practice in New York. She is a former editor and electronics technician.
